Another week, another beauty.
This was my attempt at photographing tiny little bait fish that flit around in the shallows of the turquoise waters in the Virgin Islands. If you look closely enough… you’ll see em. As a self defense technique, they show their “silver sides” (hence the name: Silverside) in a synchronized dance with each other, the idea is to create an illusion of a bigger fish and scaring off their foe.
I personally think the larger fish are onto them, but let them dance in their last moments anyway.
